PostSubject: My Winter Wildies!   Mon Oct 26, 2015 6:28 pm

I have 4 wildies staying with me for the winter. I'm looking after them for Carol over in Tamworth.

This little one is Saturn. She is a lovely little girl. A bit on the shy side, but bloomin' gorgeous! She has trouble maintaining her weight so hasn't been able to reach a safe hibernating weight yet. She is the cleanest of the 4 and keeps her zoozone lovely!

This is Pluto. Pluto is a gorgeous little boy who broke his back leg. It seems to be healing nicely so doesn't need amputating, although it does need keeping en eye on. Fingers crossed it will continue to heal well. He's only dinky too, so wont be able to gain enough weight in time for this winter. He is the messiest of the wildies and throws a party in his zoozone every night! You'd never guess he was the one with the broken leg!!!

This gorgeous boy is John. John is a very soppy little fella and the most snuggly of the 4. He just needs his weight keeping an eye on. He's lovely!

This is Moon Unit - also known as Girlie. She is very shy but very sweet. She has the longest quills of any hedgehog I've ever met! Luckily for me, she has taken a shine to me so when I pick her up they are nice and soft! She's also a very clean hedgehog, although she is stinky, bless her!
